A few noteworthy events are listed here:
-90th Anniversary of Brighton Horticultural Society and the Lawn Bowling Club Two traditional groups active with senior and new members.
- 60th Reunion of ENSS, a huge success with colossal interaction before, during the reunion and after, through social media , as well as a large turnout for all activities over the week end.
-Brighton History Open House with a presentation of Presqu’ile Dance-Hall Daze Days. This was their second year putting a spotlight on Brighton History for a weekend.
-Codrington Farmers Market launched with great success, with farmers, artists and lots of support from the community
-Trent Valley Quilters Club held their Quilt show for the first time at King Edward Park,
- Thompson-Todd Community Track and Sports Field is finished and in use , well planned, funded and a great part of ENSS and for all the community
-Water infrastructure problems and seeing the goodwill of our businesses, volunteers, and municipality emergency services pulling together.
