The Brighton HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY had a fun and successful plant auction. They are getting exciting for their 90th Anniversary event on May 30th.
COMMUNITY CARE Northumberland in our town had a fun filled knitting workshop, knit your own scarf.
The Brighton ARTS COUNCIL has the show Robert “Fred” Down happening at the Gates and in the weekend they combined it with the Brighton Artists’ Village event. When I visited, visitors had made the trip especially into town to see this show and one couple because they had heard some of the paintings were painted during his stay in Mexico. https://www.facebook.com/groups/139235219428546/
The LIONS and LEOS held a food drive at Sobeys and the Nofrills.
Lots of GARAGE SALES went on during the weekend. At our garage sale we met Presqu’ile campers and out-of-towners taking a drive into Brighton.

The LAWN BOWLING Club had a BBQ and Yard Sale fundraising for their 90th Anniversary event on May 30th.

The FRIENDS OF PRESQU'ILE Provincial Park held their Warblers and Whimbrels weekend.
