The COMMUNITY is INVITED to the fundraising event to PROTECT and CELEBRATE MEMORY JUNCTION MUSEUM August 23rd from 1pm-4pm!
After the post on FB and the article in the Brighton Independent about Vandalism at Memory Junction Museum, there was an interest from the community to do something. Dot Connolly , Kerry Boehme, Dan Buchanan and Drew MacDonald have come forward to organize a fundraising to PROTECT and CELEBRATE MJM.
Community organizations and businesses are also stepping forward to help make this celebration happen.
Hot Dogs and supplies donated by SOBEYS with harvest fresh salads & goodies.
LIONS CLUB will be Barbecuing.
There will be children’s activities.
Music will be provided by Rand R & friends. Bring your own lawn chairs!
Dan Buchanan, the history guy, will talk about the difference a train station made for Brighton.
"The LOONIE BUCKET CHALLENGE " Volunteers are challenging every resident in Brighton to DONATE A LOONIE. Talk to your friends and neighbours and collect loonies. Friends of Memory Junction Museum Loonie Buckets will be ready to be filled on Aug 23rd with your donation.
Kerry Boehme is the person to find out about becoming member of Friends of Memory Junction Museum or what you can do to help Ralph and Eugenia in order to keep Memory Junction open.

Ralph and Eugenia Bangay are happy about the outpouring of support they are receiving at the moment and are looking forward to welcome the community at Memory Junction Aug. 23rd.
