Today after I told him about what I'm doing on social media, he talked to me about Brighton and when he started up his business. He told me that the building used to be the off...ices of Nesbitt and held the labels for the canning factories. There used to be a scale in the front yard. Every buggy that came into town had to weigh their produce there before they brought it to a factory. We talked about his clients coming down from far and wide and recently he had people from the reserve, although they don't pay taxes at the reservation, he was still less expensive. I had such a great time listening to the variety of stories, upon leaving I asked them if they could find some pictures or documents about some stories they told me so I can share it.
I would also like to point out on Renegade his webpage he has some Christmas stories that he wrote! Like I said Renegade is a fascinating man! http://www.zoomzoomautosales.ca/Stories.html
I keep realizing by opening the doors of our local stores and having a look behind the storefront, Brighton has so many interesting stories
