Angel is a grey, long-haired cat (shown here with her kitten).
Angel was once a feral cat. When she got pregnant, she decided to trust humans, and moved her baby into the house I shared with my father on Prince Edward Street. Upon the death of my father, and my departure to work in a foreign country, Angel was sent to live with relatives in London. After several years, another death in the family resulted in Angel’s return to Brighton, where we were re-united. Despite being apart for nine years, Angel recognized me immediately. She was ecstatic, and purred so loudly I thought she’d burst. It seemed like Angel’s life had come full-circle. I kept her inside my Harbour St. home for a week in order to adjust. But the first time she went outside, she disappeared. Brighton people helped my niece find her hamster after it spent a week in the wild, so I am confident that my Angel will be found.
