“COMMUNITIES FOR VETERANS will be in Brighton tomorrow. They are riding across Canada to bring awareness to the mental and physical needs of veterans. I believe it is important to recognize PTSD in our veterans and would like to see a great turnout in support of them.”
The riders (and horses) will arrive at the Brighton Legion Branch100 around 2 P.M. They are coming from Colborne and will be taking Hwy 2.

“Together we can change the statistics for our soldiers and work toward reducing the instances of mental illness, depression, family trauma and suicide.”
“Throughout the ride, our goal is to share stories, encourage discussion and bridge the gap between our civilian and military communities.”
