There’s lots in store at the Codrington Farmers’ Market on Sunday.
In addition to the seasonal offerings you expect, you are in for some new treats as well.
Amanda from Rainbow Terrace is featuring Garlic Scape Butter. Made with real butter that is whipped and fluffy, and finely chopped garlic scapes from their own organic garlic, this butter can be utilized in many different ways. Let’s see: how about garlic bread, mashed potatoes, sauteed veggies, use it to finish steak, chicken or fish, and for any other creation that needs both garlic and butter.
Also, Candice from No Pencil Skirts is now bringing lavender from her garden – a truly delightful plant!
In case you have been walking a lot, or just not taking good care of your feet, Sue from Hawley Gardens will help you out with her sore feet remedies.
While you are shopping you can enjoy musical offerings from the wonderful Tina Nodwell.
You can have lunch too. Check out Kingsholm trailer, The Bakery’s peameal on a bun, Tina’s great creations, fresh strawberries and muffins from Glover’s, or take home some sausage for the barby. And our great bakers have done it for you with excellent selections, since it’s much too hot to turn on the oven.
