Let’s hear it for Farmers’ Markets! The Codrington Farmers’ Market is close by and the vendors love to interact with you.
There is still plenty of delicious corn, plus tomatoes, squash, potatoes, garlic, and other fall veggies. Hydroponic cucumbers are available to replace the vine-grown ones that are almost finished.
Be sure to see Michael for apples: Macs, Gala and Honeycrisp this week.
Maple syrup is more in demand than ever, and Don has a great selection of sizes. Use it in coffee and tea instead of white sugar.
As always, there are great in-hand snacks, prepared frozen meals, baked goods, frozen meats, sausage, cheese, eggs, Empire Cider, and more.
Be sure to come and enjoy the sounds of Hayley and the Pirate Queens, one of our favourites. The (free) coffee is on!
One final request: if you can bring some small bills, loonies and toonies, it will help out our vendors. Those 20’s and 50’s use up the “float” in a hurry!
Thank you. Market hours are 10 am – 2 pm. Our customers are the best!!
