The Codrington Farmers Market has lots to offer on Sunday. This is prime season for produce, and a great time to appreciate Mother Nature’s blessings. We have been waiting so long to enjoy field tomatoes, corn, peas – well you can name all your favourite veggies. Now they are in abundance at the Market. Plus lovely flowers and plants.
If cooking isn’t on your agenda, be sure to pick up some prepared frozen items from The Bakery (Warkworth) and Kingsholm Farms – think pot pies, stuffed buns, homemade bread, and more. You can also get some very nice sausage from Potter’s. And there are many choices of baked goods, all prepared with you in mind.
All of our other amazing vendors will be there for you too. Have you tried Patterson’s anti-aging chaga tea? Empire Cider? New-crop honey?
Live entertainment will be provided by Hayley and the Pirate Queens, and The Firelights (belly dancers, who usually invite interested spectators to join in).
All in all, the Codrington Farmers’ Market presents an excellent way to spend part of your Sunday. Free coffee too. Hours: 10 – 2.
