If you didn’t make it to the Codrington Farmers’ Market last Sunday you missed the debut of the Codrington Vendors Chorus, singing “What a Wonderful World.”
There’s something new and different every week.
The fields are really producing now with lots of lettuce, spinach, kale, strawberries, rhubarb, mushrooms, and much more. You can also find chicken and duck eggs, hummus, baked goods (includes gluten-free and diabetic friendly), beef, organic chicken, duck, pork, bison, elk, honey, Empire Cider, crafts, maple syrup and related products, hydroponic tomatoes and cucumbers, plants, flowers, herbs, infusions, hand-made soap, refashioned clothing, and more.
Sugarbush Winery from Prince Edward County will be with us this Sunday. Also joining us again is Nicole Coward from Toronto, a wonderful folk singer. Enjoy a gourmet burger, fries, lemon tea, poutine, maple sausage on naan bread. Bring the kids to enjoy playground equipment, soccer pitch, walking trail, and BMX park.
As always, live music will accompany your time at the Codrington Farmers’ Market. See you Sunday from 10 – 2.
