The Canadian HOLIDAY TRAIN will be stopping in Brighton on November 28 at 11:30am, event time is 11:45-12:15pm, performers Dallas Smith and Odds.
Although it looks more like April than December, Christmas is almost here and we can be reminded of that by viewing the spectacularly-lighted engine #2534 every evening.
The Friends of Memory Junction Museum has accomplished at lot this year, our first in existence, and all of the kudos go to those to helped at the open house fundraiser, our work weekend and all of the other little projects that were completed. The overwhelming donations of time, effort and money on short notice show a real small-town spirit that makes Brighton a fantastic place to live.
As chair, I hope that we can regroup in April and prepare for another season of giving Ralph and Eugenia a hand. One of my hopes is that we can be a little more organized and fully-utilize our wide range of talented volunteers.
Meanwhile, we have another Canuck winter to get through and I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy every opportunity we have in our beautiful area.
On behalf of Anja, Drew and Ryan, and of course Ralph and Eugenia,
Merry Christmas. Enjoy the season in your own way.
Kerry Boehme, Chair.
