Last night's vibrant Full Moon is called a Beaver Moon as this "was the month to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs."
Another name for this gorgeous November moon is the Full Frost Moon.
November and the first part of December are eventful times for Brighton.
The SANTA CLAUS PARADE is November 17th at 7pm.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA is December 17th.
The Canadian Pacific HOLIDAY TRAIN will stop in Brighton November 28th at 11:30am.
Brighton has always lots of CHRISTMAS CRAFT SHOWS, this year is no exception.

Presqu’ile start their annual Christmas at Presqu’ile Show on November 4th.
The Codrington Community will be holding 2 indoor Christmas Markets, November 19th and 26th, for other events check out the latest Newsletter from the Codrington Community Centre.
December 2nd there is a show at the King Edward Park Community Centre.
Brighton has also many CHRISTMAS CONCERTS.

On December 10th Vocalese will hold their annual Christmas Concert at Trinity St. Andrew's church at 2:30pm.
On December 13th The Brighton All Star Concert Band hold a Christmas Concert in the ENSS Auditorium at 7pm.
On December 14th Christmas at the Barn 2017 starts
On December 16th at 2 pm a Christmas Carol Sing will be held at Hilton Hall Heritage Centre.

REMEMBRANCE DAY CELEBRATIONS are always a solemn and emotional occasion in Brighton.
On November 5th at 2pm Dan Buchanan will tell the story of the Battle of Vimy at Hilton Hall, (free entrance).
The Brighton Army Cadets will again hold their overnight Vigil on November 10th – 11th. The Vigil Parade starts November 10th (from the Legion FB page) at 6:30pm and the Remembrance Day Parade at 10:30am.
