Liana Palmer about what is happening this weekend at the Codrington Farmers Market:
Long weekends mean an abundance of luscious foods at the Codrington Farmers’ Market, Sunday 10-2. What to buy? What to cook? Tough decisions because everything looks wonderful. See how our resident chef Dorothy puts together a delicious vegetable side dish and take home her recipe. The music will make you want to dance (feel free) but if you'd rather sit under one of our two shaded bench areas, go right ahead. It's your long weekend to enjoy!
Spending so much time on Presqu'ile Beach this summer it gives me a greater appreciation and insight, how active it is.
Liana Palmer about what's happening Sunday at the Farmers' Market.
Come on out to the Codrington Farmers’ Market on Sunday (10 – 2) for an amazing selection of the freshest vegetables, meats, VQA wine, honey, flowers, maple syrup, plants, raspberries, balms and tinctures (including a cough tincture made from local herbs), baked goods, Empire Cider, and much more. Of course there is always live music, delicious burgers and sausage sandwiches, and picnic tables under canopies. Catch up with Chef Dorothy to get free samples of interesting local products. Our friendly vendors sell local goods, and are happy to talk to you about their products.
